Lovedays Solicitors is a specialized legal practice with two offices in Matlock town centre, on the edge of the Peak District and an office in Wirksworth. Over the last 100 years, the firm has continually evolved to offer a first-class service to our clients, both new and old. Our professional team offer advice over a full spectrum of legal services and are delighted to have many happy clients throughout England and Wales.

Due to our long-standing presence in the Derbyshire Dales, Lovedays Solicitors are able to combine local knowledge with up-to-date legal practices and technology to ensure that your needs are met and your expectations fulfilled.

We have made significant investments in computer technology which provide both up-to-date support for our team, together with secure storage of information for our clients. This leaves us with more time to provide the face-to-face service which we feel can only benefit the relationship we have with our clients.

There are no hidden charges with any of the work we carry out for clients. Therefore, we don’t charge extra fees for storing wills once they have been prepared. Similarly, we don’t seek reimbursement of bank transfer fees from our clients when settling mortgages on their behalf, or for sending the purchase price when clients are purchasing their new home.

Lovedays Solicitors was originally founded in 1905. The firm has recently joined together with Potter and Co Solicitors and Andrew Macbeth Cash and Co to become the firm we are today.

Each firm has its own extensive history based in Matlock and Wirksworth. Each firm has gone through a range of names during their long history such as Potter Brooke-Taylor & Wildgoose and Heny Loveday & Keighley.
